Project members

The program is coordinated by Eric Huysecom, Professor and head of the Archaeology and Population in Africa Laboratory, at the Anthropology Unit of the Department of Genetics and Evolution, at the University of Geneva (Switzerland).

Researchers and students from 18 institutions of 8 countries in Europe and Africa have taken part in the program “Peuplement humain et paléoenvironnement en Afrique” since its creation in 1997. Many researchers are currently involved in the studies and fieldwork:
